I just came back from the dealership yesterday and was quoted around $1,300 for rear calipers, brake hose, fluid flush, rotors and brake pads. I have some know how regarding removing the calipers, rotors, etc…; but am concerned about getting air in the brake lines. The car is a 2009 Ford Flex and it is for both rear wheels, and believe it has ABS. I am hoping to replace the calipers and hose and brakes pads and rotors. I will go back to the dealership for a brake check and to have them flush the brakes when finished and properly cycle through ABS module. If I can, I should save around $600.
I didn't find the right solution from the Internet.
